St Austell Green Hydrogen Showcased For Local Community
20 April 2026
St Austell – Four Zeros Energy (FZE), an independent UK developer of low-carbon energy projects, today held a public exhibition for its St Austell Green Hydrogen Project in Treviscoe, marking an important milestone in the development of the project.
The exhibition provided an opportunity for local residents, community representatives and other stakeholders to view the latest proposals, meet members of the Four Zeros team and ask questions about the proposed hydrogen production facility, and its associated electrical connection infrastructure.
The event formed an important part of FZE’s ongoing engagement with the local community as the project moves towards submission of a planning application. Feedback received at the exhibition will continue to inform the development of the proposals, including areas such as traffic routing and the detailed design of the project.
Speaking at the close of the event, Chris McKerrow, Director at Four Zeros Energy, who was joined by fellow Director Dr Nick Johnson said: “We were encouraged by the level of attendance we saw in Treviscoe today, and appreciated the constructive feedback received. We were able to share important proposed details with local stakeholders and set out the benefits of the project in decarbonising industrial operations and supporting the local economy.”
The St Austell Green Hydrogen Project is being developed to supply green hydrogen to local industrial users, helping to reduce emissions, support skilled jobs, bring long-term clean energy investment to the area and support Cornwall’s wider decarbonisation ambitions.
Four Zeros would like to thank everyone who attended the exhibition and looks forward to continuing to engage with the local community and local stakeholders as the project moves into planning in the coming weeks.
